Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs are designed to provide long-term benefits to our employees, customers, partners, and individuals in communities to provide them a better living standard. In this exercise we focus on two main areas:

Employees

Lumbini Tea Factory (PVT) Ltd strongly focuses on CSR programs which would
benefit our employees with the objective of improving their life standards.
Some of our CSR Programs include

  • Providing educational scholarships for employees children
  • Providing a well-balanced breakfast at the company cost
  • Issuing essential food items through a special outlet at a concessionary rate
  • Cultivation of vegetables and issuing them free of charge to Employees families
  • Providing lodging for estate workers and their families

Society

As we grow we also contribute
to the society in many forms
through our CSR programs for
better living. Some of the
programs done by us are

 

  • Gifting a New Ward to the Deniyaya Base Hospital
  • Providing Scholarships to poor children who have performed well in their studies
  • Organizing Blood Donation Campaigns
  • Donating funds to the Deniyaya Temple
